A patient arrived from a stay in the hospital, where she had had a hip replacement. Rather than go to the hospital’s recommended rehab facility, she wanted to come to Sunrise Haven. There were breathing difficulties and a lot of fear. Just sitting up was a big deal and she was afraid to try. She only needed one nurse, but she asked for two. At first, she felt a resistance to studying and praying for herself, but she made herself study. She didn’t want to come to church services, but she shared several testimonies of previous healings with the nurses. One day the nurse called the practitioner prior to the church service and the patient walked down to join the others before the service ended. The fear was healed, and the patient was soon doing ‘laps’ around the circular hallway with a walker. Eventually she was walking without the walker—enough laps to make it a mile. Mobility issues were healed. She went home very happy and grateful.
