Sunrise Haven is a remarkably special Christian Science nursing facility.  The space both inside and out is most pleasing.  On the outside are comfortable sitting and study areas and beautiful gardens (I spent many a happy, inspired hour out there) and inside the attractive, immaculate, loving and peaceful atmosphere is all pervasive and palpable to anyone entering the facility.  It is a most conducive environment for rest, contemplation, Christian Science study and prayer, spiritual growth and ultimately healing. 

The staff is wonderful, and I say “staff,” because that was my experience with each and every person:  (Christian Science) nurse, administrator, office manager, support staff I had the privilege to interact with without exception.  They are a delightful, kind, spiritually devoted, musical and most supportive group of people!  Even the kitchen staff try hard to accommodate ones’ special dietary needs within their parameters.

“Is there anything that you need?”  “Can I/we do anything more for you?” : such commonly heard words echo throughout the building; making it clear to any resident or visitor that the primary mission of the staff is to make each individual feel as comfortable, at home and loved as possible, and to know that the staff are available twenty-four/seven to support each residents’ needs for healing, comfort, rest, and Christian Science support as best as they can.

I had a most pleasant, restful and spiritually enlightening stay at Sunrise Haven and am very grateful to all who made this possible.  I could not recommend a Christian Science nursing facility more highly.
